5 Absolute essentials for start-up Entrepreneurs.

Here are some very important tips you will not be taught in any business school that i have learnt over time in my experience as a start-up entrepreneur. You do not necessarily have to have all of these items on this list but getting them will definitely enhance your chances of success as a business person.

Complementary/Call card.
Courtesy demands that you leave a card after every business conversation and more importantly getting your partners card will enhance the chance of that person calling on you when your services are needed.
A well designed and articlated card stating precisely what you do will  serve as a constant reminder to whoever has it.

Formal clothing and accessories.
This includes plain colored clothing, suits and ties. You may have heard the saying that the way you dress determined the way you are addresses. This is so true as your clothing distinguishes you as a professional and your prospective clients will take you more serious. At least that works for me.

Branded documents.
This includes letter headed paper for letters and proposals. Your business logo branded on documents enhances your brand and builds confidence. Bearing in mind you are just starting out in business, this is a surefire way of earning people confidence.

A Mentor.
Having a mentor who is vast and successful in your line of business is a surefire way of succeeding. A mentor is not just someone you admire and know so much about.  A mentor is someone you have access to and draw inspiration and ideas from. Remember they've done it all and have experience and success under their belt. So why don't you draw from their wealth of experience by getting close to them
Sure it may be difficult to do this but i will give you a hint that works for me but you have to contact me on that because it's my personal secret.

Effective communication.
Another intangible thing you need to succeed as a stat-up entrepreneur is the ability to communicate effective with enthusiasm. This is built from inner conviction in what you do, love and passion for your Job. You have to love what you do and that's the key.

Good luck.
