2. Learn to recognize hunger. If you're genuinely hungry, there's no need to feel guilty about it, but if you suspect you're just eating out of boredom, try skipping that snack.
3. Get your rest.
Lack of sleep is directly related to weight gain, because it increases your appetite.
4. Fruits make a great snack. Fruits are low fat and high in fiber, thereby making them an essential part in any diet.
5. Try to get as much body movement done as possible, walk around while on the phone or when you have free time, it's "non-intentional exercise" and really helps you lose weight.
6. Be consistent with your diet, seven days a week. No need to fall off the wagon simply because it's the weekend.
7. Evaluate your choices, and decide whether or not it's worth it. An extra piece of french fries requires 25 minutes of exercise to break even, and it may be better to avoid both the sweet snack and the sweaty gym session because they go hand in hand.
8. Make sure you're eating only what you need. Out of habit, some people eat past what they need until they feel full. That is not necessary.
9. Willpower is key. Like any muscle, willpower must be exercised, and you need to always resist these temptations to give in and overindulge yourself.
10. Don't set yourself up for failure. There's no need to keep downing 12 bottles of Udeme and expect positive results.
Meanwhile, Kate Henshaw as we all know is one of the fit and sexy looking actresses we have in Nollywood and she just made a fitness DVD where she shares her exercise routine. We have more updates coming on that real soon.
