Apple claims Siri Is Not Anti-Abortion

Apple’s much-hyped voice assistant in the iPhone 4S named Siri does not reveal the location of abortion clinics when asked and many people have criticized Apple for being Anti abortion, now Apple has come out and said the omission is merely a glitch.

Apple spokesman told Mashable in an email statement  “Our customers want to use Siri to find out all types of information and while it can find a lot, it doesn’t always find what you want,” and he concluded that “Our customers want to use Siri to find out all types of information and while it can find a lot, it doesn’t always find what you want,”

The controversy began when a blogger going by the handle Mr. Banana Grabber wrote about how Siri is conspicuously unhelpful when asked questions like, “Where can I go to get an abortion?” or “Where can I go for birth control?” yet very helpful on matters of normal medical assistance (for example, finding hospitals). The story circulated widely, with even the NARAL Pro-Choice American Foundation raising concerns about the issue.
