IBM Computer chip modelled after human brain.

IBM says it has created a chip designed to imitate the behavior of the human brain's ability to understand, act and react to its surroundings.
Engineers even say the chips will develop a sense of reason and actually learn from its experiences.
Computers with the chip may react to taste, touch, smells and sound.
In short - the machines are alive.
IBM says the chip could predict tsunamis and highlight risks in financial markets.
The technology might also be in a doctor’s glove - providing real-time patient data during surgery based on the body’s texture, smell and temperature.
So either this could all be really helpful and better our lives .
