The 26-year-old was hit at close range during the game in Croydon, south London.
Although she did not make a complaint at the time, she went to her GP two days later who told her that the implant had been punctured.
An extra line has been added to an indemnity form warning paintballers that there is a risk implants can be damaged.
The woman only reported the incident after a day paintballing on Saturday.
A spokesman said: 'She went to see her GP and he found she had a small puncture in the implant. She called our headquarters and told us what had happened. There are no legal proceedings.'
A cosmetic surgeon said today that the risk of an implant actually being ruptured by one of the pellets is very low.
A spokesman for UK Paintball said the incident was a 'real surprise' - but they were taking steps to make sure it doesn't happen again.
'Part of the fun of paintball is that it hurts a bit when you get shot but in all the years we’ve been going we’ve never seen an incident like this,' he said.
'It came as a real surprise to hear that a woman had her implant burst at one of our centres and whilst she’s going to make a full recovery, we want to ensure nothing like this happens ever again.
With paintball bullets leaving the gun at around 190mph you can see how damage can occur.
'We want as many people to enjoy paintball as possible regardless of whether their breasts are fake or real, which is why we’re now providing additional padding around the chest region to any surgically enhanced female participants.'
Lisa Littlehales, lead specialist nurse counsellor at the Harley Medical Group, reassured that although this specific patient is not known to the practice, all breast implants are of a high quality - and the reported incident was very unusual.
'Breast implants are made to meet the highest European and American standards and are extremely robust,' she said.
'Modern implants are made of a silicone gel, with an outer shell of firm silicone, which would take an extreme amount of force to rupture.
'In my opinion, this type of accident is highly unlikely – if there was an incident with a breast implant patient, it would be unlikely to have been caused by a paintball gun.'
‘If a patient ever has concerns about a breast implant, they should contact their surgeon.’
