Coca Cola changes it's look.
The multi-billion dollar brand has embarked on a corporate social responsilbility to care for the polar bears in the Arctic.Coca-Cola has decided to invest 2 million dollars into research to preserve and protect the life of the polar bear.As a result Coca-Cola is changing the colour of its iconic can to show support for the cause. The only other time Coke has changed the colour of its Canadian cans was during the last Olympics.Coca-Cola Canada president Nicola Kettlitz said the project is a chance to do something for an animal that's been closely associated with the soft drink's image for years. However negative comments from the public trail the campaign. Some say 2 million is a meager donation from a huge player in the soft industry. But Coca-Cola has dared to tread where others dread and even the Canadian government hasn't shown full-blown commitment. The polar bear is an endanger wildlife due to the melting of the polar ice-caps caused by global warming.
