The Impact of Steve Jobs Death on Apple Computers.

Apple shares plummeted following the launch of the iPhone 4s. The was supposed to be good news for investors however a mans absence at the event only meant one thing. It is however true that Steve Jobs already has his DNA imprinted on Apple computers and every product the company Launches. The charismatic CEO has been a figure to behold at each press conference and media briefing the Company held.

Ever since he founded the Apple computers on April 1, 1976 in partnership with his childhood friend Steve Wozniak. Ever since Apple computers was founded, it has  designed and created revolutionary products like the iPod and iTunes, Mac laptop and desktop computers, the OS X operating system, and the revolutionary iPhone and iPad.
The Macintosh computer however was the the first product that brought the company into limelight and Steve Jobs was already a millionaire in his 20's.

Although Jobs had a setback when he got fired from Apple and he went ahead to start other companies like NEXT and Pixar Animation studios which pioneered 3D animation movies like Toy story and finding Nimo. It later became the most successful animation movie production company in the world. By that time Apple computers was already running into trouble and they had to acquire Next the other company Jobs founded  and he eventually returned back to Apple as the CEO.

Jobs return to Apple turned around the fortunes of the company as it was after his return the iPod was launched and it became a huge success. Other products like the iPhone and iPad followed. They were all huge successes too. However he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which was a rare form of cancer. He underwent several surgeries one of which required the replacement his liver.

This unfortunate turn of event coupled with his depreciation health forced him to resign as CEO on
Wed, Aug 24 2011. He later recommended Tim Cook as the new CEO. Company insiders were left with no doubt that it would be difficult to find a replacement that is as visionary as Steve Jobs who most believe already has his DNA imprinted on every product Apple computer launches. This probably explain why his absence at the iPhone launch triggered the fall in Apple share prices. It will be only fair to say that Steve has left a very big Mark not only as the CEO of Apple but also in the world.

This is what President Obama had to say about Jobs death "By building one of the planet's most successful companies from his garage, he exemplified the spirit of American ingenuity. By making computers personal and putting the Internet in our pockets, he made the information revolution not only accessible, but intuitive and fun. And by turning his talents to storytelling, he has brought joy to millions of children and grownups alike".
No doubt the whole world will miss the great man of innovation. R.I.P Steve Jobs.
