World’s cheapest $35 tablet PC

It's called that Aarkash and it cost only $45. This follows a government campaign to get a Tablet computer in the hands of Every Indian school child. Although the Aakash when compared to an average $100 Tablet runs on a lower processor speed and memory. It will be credited to perform various function an average Tablet PC would perform.
This launch comes after years of research after India rejects the one Laptop per child program. A non profit initiative that plans to get a laptop to school children in poor regions of the world. The Government of India have been criticized for this initiative as it is widely believed that the Tablet PC.s will not serve the purpose it was originally meant for and at that price, their is bound to be a shortfall in supply and may end up in the hands of middle class schools and elite children.
