This is a bombshell that is about to send a shock wave across the whole ICT industy. Google is buying handset maker Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion in cash. This means it competes directly with Apple as well as the various other handset makers who currently use Android. Google has over $35 billion US in cash so don't be surprised by this type of buy up.
